Report details peak efficiencies exceeding 40% and fuel consumption reduction up to 18%
In spring of 2012 a Sturman Industries Fleet Advisory Board (FAB) was formed. It includes twelve entities representing 170,000 (apx.) U.S. fleet vehicles, combined from private, public and commercial organizations. Participants from the commercial sector represent $178+Billion (apx.) in their annual sales for 2011 from their combined commercial products segments. Following technical and business brainstorming sessions with Sturman Industries, the FAB came together in support of the promotion of technology advancements to benefit their businesses and organizations,
The 10th Annual Biogas and Biomethane Conference was held in Montreal, Quebec on May 24 and 25 2012.
In conjunction with his talk at the World Renewable Energy Forum, Dr. Steven Chu, Secretary of the US Department of Energy, held a private, invitation-only energy roundtable discussion in Denver, CO on May 16, 2012. Dan Arvizu, Director of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory hosted the Roundtable for the Secretary to meet and hear from energy technology leaders. Eddie and Carol Sturman were among the small group of innovators invited to meet with the Secretary.
The World Renewable Energy Forum was held in Denver, Colorado May 13 – 17. The three day event boasts an impressive array of speakers, including Secretary of Energy Steven Chu, Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, US Senator Michael Bennet, NREL Executive Director Dan Arvizu, as well as esteemed representatives of the US Department of Defense, National Geographic, and Citigroup.
